About the LDC Centre
South Lake Early Learning Centre is a community based not for profit organisation that has been servicing families in the South Lake community for the past 30+ years.
We provide Early Education and Care for children 0-5yr olds and Before and After School care from Kindy age onwards. Our service is currently licensed for 69 children at Long Day Care (LDC) and 39 children at Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), providing a high quality & educational environment that promotes children’s well-being and development.
Our centre is managed by a volunteer management committee. All funds raised by the centre go back into the centre for the children and families.
Our Centre is approved to operate by the Department of Communities Education and Care Regulatory Unit and is rated meeting all National Quality Standards.

Our centre is a bus ride away from Cockburn Central Station, with convenient bus routes and easy access to major motorways. Families will appreciate the nearby medical centres, service stations, and Cockburn Shopping Centre, as well as other local amenities, making drop-offs, pickups, and everyday errands simple and stress-free.
Educational Program
Our program provides a safe, engaging environment where every child is valued and supported. Through play-based learning, children explore, build friendships, and grow in confidence and independence.
Tailored activities help 3–5 year olds develop curiosity, problem-solving skills, and school readiness. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
